Browseroo is built on a simple principle: your browsing is your business. The app runs entirely on your Mac, has no accounts, and never phones home.

What we collect

Nothing. Browseroo contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporters, and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Links you open

Every link Browseroo routes is processed locally on your Mac. URLs are matched against your rules in memory and handed straight to the browser you chose. They are never logged, stored, or sent anywhere.

Location

If you create location-based rules, Browseroo asks macOS for permission to use your location. Your location is only compared against your rules on-device, is never stored beyond that comparison, and never leaves your Mac. If you don't use location rules, location access is never requested.

Focus modes

Focus-based rules read your current macOS Focus state through Apple's APIs, on-device, only at the moment a link is opened.

Purchases

The Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information about you from the transaction.

This website

This site is a static page with no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Given the app's design, we don't expect it to change in substance.
